I have a timeshare that I own with my cousins. It was my responsibility to pay the dues for this year (they would send me a check for their half). I forgot to pay them and I just got a letter from a collections company. I'm filing chapter 7 this week. Can I still pay it without getting in trouble?

Wouldn't the timeshare have to be included in your bankruptcy? Is this a deeded property with your name on it? The timeshare was gifted to my cousin and I over 6 years ago from an uncle. My cousin and I are on the deed and we pay a yearly maintenance fee of 700 a year, so 350 each. It's not worth much, especially since I'm only part owner.
