It has been a very very long year and a half dealing with this. I am glad it's over. :yes2

This forum has such a wealth of information and i would like to thank everyone who answered my questions. I will still be lurking to see if I could answer and, or chime in to help someone. One more question, how long does it take your bk to close?

As far as how long it takes to close, it's anyone's guess. Some no-asset cases are closed on the same day they are discharged. Some are just caught in the paperwork flow and not closed for a month or more. Asset cases are a whole different ball of wax. Our trustee told us it could take a year or more to close our case with our piddly diddly assets (tax refund/small bank balance) that he took.

Once you have your discharge, you'll be able to find someone willing to give you a car loan. Just shop around for the best rates. Might also pay to wait a couple of months, if you can that is.
