Car just died

Filed Chpt & in February. Only car in household was/is in need of major repairs (spent $1000 last month) car has electrical problems. What can/should I do? Family of four needs transportation.

i drove a beat up 1995 jeep for a long while until my discharge. then i was able to get financing through capital one auto.

You have my sympathy for this very sad situation. Hopefully people who haven't filed yet will read this and get their transportation needs taken care of before they file.

If you don't have a generous relative or friend, you might have get a car at a "buy here/pay here" lot or get a high-interest loan to repair your car.
