Converting from 13 to 7 and letting house go...

I live in Minnesota and will be converting to a chapter 7 and letting the house go. Does anybody have a ballpark of when / how fast will we have to be out of our house? Just wondering as I will be having a meeting with my lawyer in a few days.....

That'll depend on the foreclosure laws/process in your state.
For sure, you'd be protected by the automatic stay that comes with filing the 7. The lender can do nothing unless they file for relief from stay and the request is granted.
Then, they could proceed but would have to follow Mn. state law.
