Hang in there grrl, the hard part is over.
On to bigger and better things!
Say hi to Harry for me. Hope to go next week for bargain night. This is pretty much the only movie I've seen in a theater for a couple three years now. Kinda sad to see it finally come to an end--- good stuff.
Congrats! Will be joining you within the next week or so. Can't wait to get this ball rolling (oddly enough, it's been a long 14 months for us, as well, so we definitely feel your pain).
Filed: 28 July 11 (Ch. 7) / 341: 6 Sep 11 / No Dist: 12 Sep 11
Discharge: 9 Nov 11 / CLOSED: 15 Nov 11
Congrats on this milestone! Don't ever sell yourself short on the advice and help you have offered to those of us just starting out these last couple of months. You have helped more than you know. We learn from each other and the support is the saving grace for most of us here. Thank you for all you have to contribute and go enjoy the movie!
aww thanks! It makes me feel like my situation wasn't a complete bust if I could have helped at least one person.

Thanks!! It was a bitter sweet movie. I am sad to see it over. I think the movies completed the series well. Have fun!

It's been a LONG year! I can't not even express how thankful I am to every single person who has helped me along the way on this forum!
I'm not going to lie I did cry walking out of the lawyer's office this morning. I'm usually a pretty tough cookie and don't cry much but today I didn't get the sense of relief I was looking for. Instead I got an overwhelming sense of failure. I know filing was the best decision for me and my family but since I'm the one who does the finances I kind of feel like this was solely my fault. I know this feeling will pass but right now it's a crappy feeling.
So thanks again everyone here!!
Have a great weekend!
Freddy,
So happy you are signed, sealed and delivered! As for the failure part, you know it was a business decision. The relief will come. Don't be so hard on yourself, for most of us, the American system has been failing us for years. CCC's got money, raised our rates, increased our payments and a lot of us never were late. Gov't gave all those folks who lived above their means breaks on mortages (in some cases forgiving over half).
After all that, those of us who honestly tried to keep up and ended up filing should absolutely not feel quilty.
Will be looking forward to your discharge for you!!!!
