Should I even be checking PACER before our discharge?

Will it tell me anything I don't already know? We're a no asset case and haven't had any issues so far. I've looked once or twice, but there's never anything different on there.

It does not hurt to check PACER as much as you wish. Keep below the 10 bucks fee though. If you have no change, the system is working on your behalf. No news is good news in a bk except for one item. Discharge! 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

This sticky has the BEST info on how to check Pacer without racking up a huge bill:

Like 'Hub said, there is no charge to you if you don't exceed $10 in a calendar quarter.

That sticky was extremely helpful in navigating PACER the first few times. I didn't know if/when they would put new info up. Guess I'll just keep waiting.....
