Do I give the trustee 1040x along with my 1040 tax return? or do i just give my 1040?

I am amending my tax return before I send it to the Trustee. There is the 1040x and the 1040. The 1040x shows the amendment changes, and the 1040 is the actual new tax return. Do I send the trustee the 1040 alone? Or with the 1040x? or does it matter?

I would send him all.

My trustee asked for my return but didn't specify. So i sent him my whole H&R File..

I'd send both. The amended return is your official return.
