again, best idea with these slime balls IF they decide to come after you AFTER the debt is discharged (hmm) then tell them to come and pick them up. however, it will not be as simple as coming out that day and picking the stuff up, there is some red tape for them to go through first. actually, a good bit of it..

make them do their work.. if it comes down to returning the stuff, then so be it.. regardless, you are still in a much better position now than you were before.
    Thanks,

to add a little more, bottom line is that they cannot collect a debt that is discharged. I do agree that there may be a secured interest in the property and if they say they want it back and if you still have it then tell em to go through all of the red tape required, get in their SUV or trucks or hire a mover and drive across the country with gas rates at $3 plus per gallon for a few old outdated electronic items (or whatever they may be) and then sell it at some auction for nothing.
      Thanks,

        bass ass and associates

Thanks for all the input. You know at the end of the day this really is a war. A war with no ethics or morality. So to expect ethical behavior from bass ass is like swiming with a great white shark and expecting not to get eat. Kinda stupid. They are what they are.

Believe I will hide under the bushes and not do anything. I will simply demand they present to me evidence of what they claim I have and prove it was purchased with a best buy card and have them prove they have the legal right to pursue this matter. All very reasonable. Particularly if I have to argue this in a court.

If they don`t do that then we will rock and roll right to court. Somewhere along the way these bums will have to present in some legal or other format what exactly they are talking about.

Once they do that then I will go to phase two if necessary. That will involve something similar to what happened to the Great White Shark in Jaws. But totally peaceful.

I will simply encourage them to go feed on others who are swiming in the water as I jump out.

        Crazy world we live in.

        Regards,

What is crazy is this legal loop hole in the BK Law that allows this type of deceptive collection practices to continue.

First you have to admit there's a problem with your finances. Then you go thru the process of seeking reasonable solutions until you finally decide that BK is the best alternative for you. Then you have to endure the humiliation of publically announcing your are financially insolvent and must seek the protection of the Court. You have to wade thru the legal process while some mealy mouthed Trustee is counting the $$ they can line their pocket with out of the assets you have remaining. You finally jump thru all the Court's hoops to be issued your "Get Our of Jail Free Card" only to find a Bass and Ass waiting to pounce on you from behind door number 2.

Unreal. Is it ever really over??

Oh, and let us not forget, we must rebuild ourselves in the eyes of society as well. To prove we are worthy once again!!

            Bass Ass

Got a call from Bass Ass today. Asked them what it is I have of theirs. He indicated he didn`t know but being a smart ass he ask me didn`t I know? Said actually I didn`t. I used several cc`s there.

Told him I was sure that anything I bought on the BB card was returned. He said it didn`t matter still had to pay. After that I was sure I was in the Twilight Zone with a mentally retarded Martian. At that point I hung up and disconnected the phone.

            These folks are just weird.

This is easier then you think.

Simply ask them what items they want back and offer to let them come pick it up. Unless you recently bought a $5000 TV or something they are not going to waste the money pursuing it.

As I understand it the items are like vehicles. It is thier responsibility to pick up the item. You have no obligation to pay for shipping or to transport it to them.
