    Huge problem

341 was on 6/23. My husband got his paycheck today and BBT took out over $300 in "garnished wages." The wacky part is that BBT sent us a letter that all collection action had been stopped. My lawyer even got a copy of it. The garnishment hearing had been scheduled for sometime in october and the court sent a paper saying it had been stopped due to the bankruptcy. Now we dont have enough money in the bank to pay the mortgage. I am beyond frustrated. $1200 a month for a vehicle that is included in bankruptcy is absolutely ridiculous. Haven't they violated the automatic stay? I just want to cry.

Call your attorney, and Hubby should call his payroll department. Probably something had already been filed with payroll, and they were not notified that the garnishment case had been dropped.

Not an attorney, and never played one on tv. My responses are based on my own experiences & personal opinions.)
