Is this a expense; money given to my dad to buy his meds???

Just going through my expenses. I give my dad $175 a month for him to buy his meds and to assist with his medical insurance. Is this a valid expense. He is 70 years old. If it is, would a trustee question this? What kind of information would a trustee request??? Thank you once again.

First, do you even need the expense to accomplish anything? Before we get into the nitty gritty, why does it matter?

I had a similar situation with money to help my Mother with her living expenses. She has even been homeless at times. It went through as an allowed expense. Any receipts you have would be helpful, but I ended up not having to provide any back up.
