Cash Check or Not to Cash Check that is the Question...........

not to sure if this is the place to ask this but here it is.

Today in the mail I got a check from one of the cc that we BK for miscalculated late fees we might have had a late payment a year or so ago although not to sure. I'm a little afraid of cashing the check it's not for much. Our case is discharged and closed as of the 19 of this month. Any advice?
