Well it's been one year since our chapter 7 closure. We have done very well... now have a solid savings, 9 years left on a land contract for the house and retirement account is growing nicely. We have two credit cards with no balance...
Cars are beaters and need replacement, but they will need to completely die before I spend any money.
We continue to be very conservative with our finances and have established our financial priorities... Church, retirement, savings, expenses; in that order.
I thank everyone for the time an effort they put into this site; and encourage everyone to NOT STRESS during the process... it's painful but passes.
