Will Credit Card Co's ever negotiate a longer payback than 5 years?

I would actually like to like to pay back my cards one day. The wife and I used to be high six-figure earners for years leading to 2009, and we will again, but not for 24-36 months at least. Bad real estate buys, unexpected health issues and multiples knocked us off balance. But my first round of interviews of our US cards proved a dead end. 1-2 offerred a partial deferral up to a year, but they all wanted a pyment plan to payoff by 60 months. So did all the "counseling services" These are level of payments my current income and family situation can't handle. You can't make $2500 in minimum payments if your income is only $3000/mo If they would give me 0-3% interest and no or low or interest only payments for 24-36 months, I could likely pay it all back 5 years from now. But no one seemed capable of speaking this language with me.

Has anyone ever successfully negotiated a multi-year deferral or extended interest-only low int payments for an extended period ?
