Ok here goes! I reaffirmed my first mortgage but not the second. Lawyer said he would not sign it. ok fine. Well my husband has been transferred to a new dept. about 4hrs from here. If we sell our house, which we will probably wait until next yr. what happens with the 2nd mortgage? Does that have to be paid after we sell the house or can we walk away from that? I'm probably guessing we have to pay but just not sure. If anyone knows I would appreciate your response.
