bank question

So I just filed last week and i wanted to know if theres a chance ill still be able to keep my bank of america checking account? Dont have any credit cards with them and have always been in good standing. Any help would be greatly appreciated

If they haven't frozen your bank account already (I think Wells Fargo is the only one who does that), then there shouldn't be any reason you can't keep your account. Mine is with US Bank and all they said is if I was over-drawn on the day of filing--which I wasn't--they would have frozen the account and that minus balance would have been added to my debts. I've kept my bank account without a problem. You're allowed to have a bank account during a bankruptcy.

My bank is BOA. No problem with my checking when I filed 10/2012.
