After talking to many and meeting with a few I've found my Atty! He's done thousands of BK's and is well versed in the new laws.
He asked me to get together a list of household goods, monthly expenses and quite a few other things. Thanks to you guys I had already brought all of this with me. He said I was the most organized and informed client he's ever had! Thank you to everyone!
He also said that through and Adversarial Proceeding he can sue the organization that has been garnishing my wages and get back whatever they have taken in the last 90 days. I've only had 4 checks garnished so I should get it all back. The fee for this will be included in my payment to him.
Has anyone ever done this? I've heard of creditors doing this but not the debtor.
Thanks again!

.You did your homework and came prepared. I always have repeated that one should file as if they are filing pro se, but certainly hire a good attorney. This way you can fix his errors and he can fix yours. What's almost as bad as pro se is one that gives the stack of stuff and money to the attorney and forgets it and thinks that's it. Wrong thing to do! If he screws up it's your ass no matter what anyone says.
