    Yet another problem... Damn it!

Ok on just about all the items on my credit report they are all showing as being reported this year. The 7 year time frame is from the reported date right? If so, they cannot keep reporting this or it will never some off my report. I'm getting soo pissed off! My BK is pointless if things never come off my report!
    My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507

    Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

The seven year time frame is from the date you defaulted or from the date of last payment, whichever came last. It is usually NOT from the date reported since that date is after the previous two scenarios!
    Filed Pro-se: 01/18/06
    341 meeting: 02/14/2006
    Objection Deadline: 04/17/06
    Discharge: 06/13/2006
    Closed: 06/21/2006

    Credit cards

06/25/06, reopened a Discover that I closed before my bk, $1500 limit
July 2006, Target Redcard $200 limit
August 2006, Hooters MC $1750 limit

So, the items I have on my report that were closed in 1995, but reported 05/2006 should not be on my report?

That is correct if you defaulted more than seven years ago.

during all my research I think I read something about an original creditor waiting 6 years to sell off a debt to another creditor and at that point the clock on the new creditor started. I'm thinking if the debt is with the original creditor then the time period has ended, but if it is a new creditor (bought the debt) then the clock has started again.
