Reopeing a ch. 7

I filed for bankruptcy and tried to waive the credit counseling but I didn't have the required document for exigent circumstances attached. Now the case has been dismissed and I am in need of a sample of how to prepare a Motion to Reopen.

If I am correct there is nothing to '"reopen." Since the case has been dismissed, you will need to refile. I'll have to check on whether you have to wait 180 days to do that in this instance.

Call the clerk and ask how many days for your location. Since almost all waivers are denied and followed by a discharge, some districts are not required the full waiting period to refile.
