NCO just called me. Told me I had an outstanding debt for some BMG musicaccount from 2004. I wasn't aware of the account when I filed. I never had a BMG music account.
I told them my bankruptcy discharge was ordered March 12, 2007. I then told them that even if the debt wasn't included that I was protected under bankruptcy law from creditors that come out of the woodwork.
They asked fo my attorney's number. I said i filed prose. They told me it wasn't legal to do that and they needed a number for the person i filed bankruptcy through. So i gave them the number to the bankruptcy court clerks office. These people are nuts!
There is no way this debt could be mine. Does BMG need a ss# to open account (back in 2004?).
