I have explicit messages saying, "We are going to file papers in your county on Friday the 20th."
Many naca lawyers if not most will sue with no money up front, especially if you can present evidence of a de facto violation of the FDCPA.

You could even use the legalhelpers.com FDCPA attorney in Chicago, although I don't endorse anybody. I personally know they don't charge up front.

Fact is, most of these cases settle out of court for fines and attorney fees...depending on the violations and how many you could be due $1500.00to $5000.00 dollars in a settlement. Alot of the cases are highly contingent, but collectors do pay out mucho bucks in settlements to debtors they abuse.

These filthy dirtbags collectors won't show in court as they fear the court judgments. They know they violate the law countinously and calculate they will collect far more than they pay out in settlements.

Your lawyer gets with their lawyer...they do a little investigation, find the call records, find it was done by that dirt bag call center creep they fired last week for abusing debtors and costing them a previous settlement...

...and...poof!, a settlemnt offer is made...since you do have a recording....

    Bingo money....!

They prefer to settle so they can stay in business and screw other debtors who fear them more and refuse to stand up for themselves.

You, your just smart enough the gather evidence and sue.

Anyway, suit yourself and the best of luck to you.

Thanks for the recommendations! I will check it out and see what I can do. Hopefully someone thinks my messages are worthwhile enough to sue them! I sure as heck could use the money!

Wouldn't it be funny if they ended up paying me more money than I owe on the debt they are trying to collect? Or even better, if they were a legit collector worth paying and not crooks, if I paid off my debt with their money!
