Can Bank Seize my Payroll Check?

If I had a judgement from Bank of America for CC debt and I have a payroll check from my work that I cash at our LOCAL B of A (my current employers bank that the check is drawn on) and WE DO NOT have a bank account with them CAN THEY TAKE/SEIZE my payroll check?

Just curious as I go there now to cash my payroll check
and they charge $5.00 and ask for 2 forms of ID. (we have no judgement against us yet)

Do they run any types of checks on these things?

    thanks, techno

I never had any issue with them *seizing* any payroll check that I had them cash.
    Filed 07/07, $120k unsecured debt
Plan: $400 (includes cram down) 60 months
Brilliant attorney, decent trustee, awesome plan

Yes, they were on the creditor matrix...

Depending on the size of your check, if you are antsy, you might check out Walmart or a check cashing place.

I would recommend using WalMart to cash checks anyways. WalMart only charges $3 so that would save you over $100/year.
