Can a creditor send a debt to collection agency after filing?

A new collection agency has shown up on my CR posting the day after my filing C7. Is this a problem for me or them?

more than likely, they had sold the debt a few weeks ago and the new collection agency is now just starting to collect. Just contact them up and tell them you filed for BK, give them your BK case number, and the name of your attorney...Pretty much all of the collection accounts I did this to removed their entries from my report.
