Left debts in the United States want to fix it!

I have this major problem I don't know how I should handle this. Here it goes:

I was able to work in the United States last Feb. 06. I was given SSN therfore I was able to build credit & I was pretty good in making payments.

- I got an apartment because of my good credit (Had to cut the lease)
- Was able to purchase a car for Toyota Financial (got repossesd)
- Capital One Card (for collection)
- Discover Card (for collection)
- Macy's Card (for collection)
- Target Card (for collection)
- WAMU (Overdrafts)
- PG&E (for collection)
- Comcast (for collection)

This all happend because the USIS immgration did not extend my working visa & only gave me 2 weeks to leave the country, so I had no time to fix my finances & at the same time lost source of income. I'm in the Philippines now. One more thing was not able to file my taxes with IRS.

Currently I'm under a family petition & I should be moving back to the US by 2009 permanently. I don't want to be in trouble the day I land in the airport.

I'm currently working here in the Philippines, but I can't afford to pay this debts. What should I do should I fill a chapter 7?, but how I'm out of the country. Its been 6 months since this all happend

There isn't much you can do until you return to the country. For any bankruptcy you have to be present within the United States or her territories. The reason is you have to attend a 341 meeting.

Do yo think its possible if i appoint someone with my absolute power of attorney to represent me? Will I be criminally liable for any of this?
