We are preparing to file either 7 or 13...unsure if we will qualify for a 7. My 2nd mortgage company is refusing to speak to me about short term fixes until the case is adjudicated....yet I will still continue to get calls. Is there any form letter I can send them to TRY and get the calls to stop? They are calling on both phones 15-30 times a day even though my "file" says I continue to be in contact with their loss mitigation department.

yes, there is! On page 150 of the NOLO "Solve your money troubles" book - i think you might be able to find similar letters elsewhere, but this is the one i know of - good luck!
edit: actually read this post, it looks like there's a website with some sample letters!
