Garnishment onnew debt after Ch13 confirmed?

I have a Ch 13 I have been paying for over 2 years. I had a contempt of court judgement against me for failing to pay my full share of medical expenses to ex-wife (not in my BK--she got a Ch 7) for my kids for 2007. We disagreed on who owed whom, judge said I owed another $1250.00, which I paid promptly.

Her atty got awarded $2k in fees which I was also ordered to pay. I have not paid him and wondering if he can just submit a writ of garnishment to my employer, or not?

And, because I am paying on my Ch 13, can this be done legally anyway? I was told my wages could not be touched without the order of the BK court, but not sure this is factual.

    Thanks

Usually, you have to get permission to go into new debt. I see though that the debt was not your choice. Again I recomment C7. 'Hub
