    New Collections - Northstar

I received a call from a new CA (Northstar Location Services.) I called them back and they are the type of CA that comes off all "soft and fuzzy." When I refused to discuss finances with them and demanded written information via USPS, they stated the ususal line that they had sent out 3 letters. BS! I recored the entire conversation and it is a great one that soem future legal firm might want to have in a class-action lawsuit. The guy eventually hung up on me when I answered a question with, "I don't give a sh*t." He kept asking me if I was threatening him. When I asked if he was lying (about sending out letters,) he had already hung up. If you hear from these folks, don't get frazzled. I hope they call back, as I will simply kep them talking and burn up their precious time. The name of the company gives the impression that they are working on "locating" you. I googled them and knew far more about them then they could possibly know about me. I then returned the call. Knowing the enemy is always to your advantage. I just discovered they have been sued in several states, so I'll have that discussion with them the next time they call, or I need to call them back. LOL

These idiots were the only ones I actually flung a string of curses at. I said "I want you to stop calling my parents and I want an address to send a C&D letter to" and the jerk I was talking to said "I don't have to do anything for you."

    Whatever.

But it can be fun when they start grinding away at you and you drop a few four letter words. Then they tell you something like; if your going to talk to me like that then I am going to start swearing at you...then I just keep it up, when they drop and f-bomb or two I say, got ya, now you just blew the FDCPA its illegal for you to swear at me. Then they say stuff like, well you started it...LOL!! And so what? You can hang up. Nothing in the law says I can't swear at you, but the law says you can't swear at me...too bad!
OH, I loved this one. Thanks BB2. You made my evening. LOLOL 'Hub

NS finally called me on my cell today. I immediately told the caller that I need information in writing. She said OKAY. I told her to make sure they have my correct address. They had the street number "reversed." This is BS. I repeated my correct mailing address, and then told her I had recorded the call. I also told her that they had called two days ago, and were down to 3 days to get written information in the mail under federal laws. She said she would notify "someone" to get the information sent to me. These guys are all sneaky bast*rds! They know when someone asks for written documentation, they are already up against someone willing to play the game.

I was hoping it was "Paul" calling again, so I could record him, while I gave him a few SoB's and sh*ts. Instead, it seems the woman was far more in tune with what my request was.

The funny part is that I don't even know what "alleged" CC debt the call was referring to. I don't even let them get that far anymore.
