    Anyone Use myFICO

Anyone use myFICO to check your credit reports? Just wondering what you think of the service.

Looks like the FICO Standard allows you to view look at your report from either Equifax or TransUnion for 30 days for $15.

    or

The FICO Quarterly monitoring tracks your TransUnion credit report on an ongoing basis for $4.95 per month or $49 per year.

If you're going to use myFico, there is a coupon code here on this board

I pulled my credit report a couple of months ago using this link/code. I think it took about $3.00 of the price.

You can view your Experian report for free.

      1. Order the paper copy which is available over the phone* at 866 200 6020
      2. Once you have it you can use the report number anytime to check your report by using the dispute link at: http://www.experian.com/rd_personal/...request_b.html

Don't be a sucker and pay for this.
      * Don't be confused by any prompts for pay service. You are almost certainly entitled to a free credit report due to state law, adverse action, or unemployment.

To view your Transunion credit file is even easier. You just go through the submit a dispute link at http://www.transunion.com/corporate/...tDispute.page?
Then since they're always trying to upsell you'll be prompted to create account.
Go ahead and create a username and password, and keep clicking through pages for starting a dispute until you get to your credit file.

            Thanks for the info catleg.
I knew about the free annual credit report, but had already used mine up for this year which is why I paid for the myFico.
Good to know that there are other ways to get it for free.

Wow, Catleg, that is great to know. Thanks very much for the info. Several years ago there were incorrect things on my credit report. I battled with all three of them for months and months and spent a small fortune subscribing to one of those credit reporting deals -- huge waste of money. I wish I knew then what I know now.
