Rec'd collection letter from US weekly...

I just rec'd a collection from an outsource
collection via US weekly..

They say, I owe them $80 for a subscription..

I do not read these type of magazines,
US weekly, Business weekly, etc...

I do not read magazines that do not
contain dirt, gossip, trash, etc.

I do not even get US weekly...

I guess its possible that someone used
me for the billing and sent the mag to
another address..not with my permission.

or the company is just commiting fraud.

Anyhoo....I would ignore it. I have received several notices like that in the past for something I'd never signed up for, phoned them up to dispute the charge and didn't pay whether they liked it or not. Some were understanding and, and but one of them was persistant so I just tossed out any further communication I received from them and that was that. Nothing ever appeared on my credit report concerning them.

I get things from magazine "subscription services" all the time with renewal notices and past due notices. They are all b.s.
