    Question..Help Please

    Have been served by Chase.
Answered complaint. All statements were answered with deny.
Requested 1st production of documents. Asked for contract, statements, etc.
Just received a request from Plaintiff for time extension to request documents from Chase.
Am planning to file Ch13, but need to save money.
Approximatively how much time does this request from Plaintiff give me before a court date is set?

If they are requesting extensions that is a good thing for you. Every court calendar is different so estimating time really won't be easy. At the present time you are a LONG way from judgment. Some courts like mine will try mediation before letting one of these go to court and that delays it even farther. I had three civil suits filed against me. Two in superior court and one in small claims. The first was served in November and still had not seen the light of a courtroom when I filed in December a year later.

You should be able to find out how much time they are requesting. Typically this might be 30 -60 days (at least in my area)
I'd agree with Bell you probably have quite awhile before any judgment that the plaintiff can try to enforce.
