Beyond weird.
When I was in my teens my dad died and I ended up getting SS checks. My mom managed to get ME a veterans loan when I was 18 using the SS as income and bought the house as a rental. Keep in mind NONE of us were ever in the military!
Well, my mom and I haven't spoken in years and recently, I decided to look at public records for our county and discovered that house had gone into foreclosure about four years after I "bought" the house! I never even knew. How is that possible?
I never saw a single document or was contacted by anyone. Coincidently around that time, I defaulted on all my credit cards (young and irresponsible) so my credit was shot anyhow, but I always managed to find a place to live w/out a SINGLE landlord/rental agency bringing my foreclosure up.
Isn't that just odd?
