I had to stop making payments on my mortgage back in August. In December, I submitted a hardship package back to First Horizon. Have not heard anything since. Each time I call, I get sent to a voice mail box and no one ever calls back. I am at 8 months since making a payment. No notice of default. Nothing. A few collection calls now and then. Anyone else having the same issues with First Horizon?

Better to use NACA - Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. I can't stand dealing with Chase so I went through NACA for my loan mod. They are excellent. Not intimidating whatsoever and they are ON YOUR SIDE! They will work up a budget for you, etc. and submit a loan mod to your mortgage company.
