    who are these people?

    I have not got my discharge yet. Sept 18 last day to object. I 'm giving up the condo. So, I get this letter in the mail from this co. called Associated Inspection services/ dept of assignments. No rtn address.I had a # I cld it. They say they can take my condo for me and deed it over to them . That I won't be liable for anything.Utilities or HOAs. They will take care of everything and try to sell t before it forcloses. They say...so that won't be on my record.Don't I have to have a discharge first? Then the mort co should forclose anyway. He says I can get it sold faster than they can forclose. Who are these people??? I can't take this anymore...please help........

    Do not deed anything to anyone while you are in BK.

    You are surrendering your condo on your statement of intentions, right? Once the paperwork has been accepted for your BK the property is part of the BK estate. You can not deed anything into or out of the BK estate without the Court/Trustee permission. Once you are discharged, the bank will continue with the foreclosure process but you have surrendered the property to the bank in the BK. The foreclosure is simply a formality.

    I googled the name you posted and it appears to be just a regular real estate inspection type company. I suspect the letter you got is from someone else borrowing the name of the inspection company - sounds like a scam to me.
