What does this term mean? Is the property in the process of being foreclosed or has it been foreclosed? How much times would one be allowed to stay in the home once the lis pendens has been filed? Hope I'm making sense.

Am I reading the website correctly? Lis pendens is the beginning of the foreclosure process and that it can take anywhere between 90 days to 12 months until the foreclosure is in effect? Does this mean that is takes additional time for the house to actually go to auction once the foreclosure has gone "through" lis pendens and the foreclosure is final?

That's about it. Lis Pendens is a notification to anyone (like Title Company) who has an eye on the property that it is in a 'distressed' state. It is nothing to worry about.
