BK7 included mortgage in September discharge
-mortgage lender went to court a few days after discharge to lift stay
-certified letter "Intent to Forclose" received ("attempt to collect a debt")
-bill for past due balance
-notice of this months late fee


I called lawyer just to make sure the mortgage was included and i was reassured that it was included and they said the the notices were all a normal part of the forclosure process...

no.. I want to move but i am staying to save just a little and I was told it was wiser then just leaving it... to wait until the last minute ( i think that means when i get notice of auction date)

You can stay until they forcibly remove you.

It moves slowly, but the process does happen. I stopped paying 12/08, got the NOD 08/09..Yesterday BofA's agent came and took pictures and changed locks. Auction set for December. I was already out, but happened to be there when they came by. It was pretty funny, as they were changing the locks, I asked Bank of America's agent "So, I guess the whole Cash for Keys thing isn't an option anymore" ? He just didn't see the humor in it...So again (me and my big mouth I guess, I just couldn't resist) I said, so I guess I'll be sure to write President Obama a big thank you for saving my home....AT least the locksmith got a laugh...his business is doing quite well..
