Wells Fargo - Has anyone heard of this

It seems a bit weird to me too. First of all a "mini" appraisal will not give them an idea as to what foreclosures are going for around there, and that is what they should be looking at.

Honestly I would say that this would be abnormal. I don't know, except to allow anyone in your house, the law enforcement people are allowed to lie by law (would you believe). You are NOT. For what reason would they want into your house? They can get a thumb nail idea of what your house is worth by looking at it from the street and Public Tax Records. I would ask your lawyer for sure as I have been down a bit of legal issues. Today, I got a voicemail on my cell phone, asking if we would allow a "mini appraisal" on the house. Just to let someone in.
Has anyone had that happen?
