    Foreclose without notice

I stopped paying a about 5 months ago...there was a letter from Mortgage company that had a line

"if you stop paying ...we will foreclose without further notice...."

does that just mean i won't hear from them...they still have to serve us a legal foreclosure notice no?

It means this may be your only 'notice' before they actually start the process. The act of foreclosure would still be done as required by your state, whatever 'notices' that may involve...
Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
(In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)

Concur...that letter "may" be the last notice you get from the BANK. But all states have rigorous notice requirements once the property is placed for foreclosure. You will get PLENTY of notice of the actual foreclosure once that process begins (assuming you are still living at the location and your mailing address is current with the lender).
