I do wonder since it was an older home, if they may or may not have done it purposely to get their insurance to pay for some updates. Is that possible?
I think that would be a criminal act on the bank's part if they did it. Insurance fraud, I believe, so I don't think they would do it. Not enough of a pay-off. I think they're more selective about their criminal activities.
