We received our Chapter 7 discharge 2 weeks ago. We did not reaffirm the mortgage and we want to move out in the next 3 or 4 months. But we want to get the house out of our name for several reasons. Both the first and a HELOC are with GMAC. Has anyone in a similar situation been able to get GMAC to take a DIL so as to speed up the transfer?
