We stopped paying all our mortgages (primary residence, and rental properties) a couple of months ago. Just recently I've been getting bombarded with phone calls from First Horizon regarding the loan I have with them. Chase, the other lender, hasn't contacted me. We are planning to file bk 7 in a few months. We have 2nds on both of our rental properties(located in CO). I wouldn't mind negotiating for a DIL, although it's a long shot or a Short Sell. It also would allow me some time to get my things in order for the bk 7.
WHAT IS A GOOD STRATEGY FOR DEALING WITH BANKS REGARDING FORECLOSURE/DIL/SHORT SELL?
any advice would be great.
