I am in the pre-file bk stage.... basically consultanting with attorneys and trying to decide if I want to file this pro se or hire someone to help. I have to move out of my current apartment by the end of the month, and in order to move into a new place, they pulled my credit report. I informed them of my situation prior to them pulling my credit reprt (stupid on my behalf- they wouldn't have pulled it if I wouldn't have told them). Along with additional security deposit, they are asking me to provide them with a letter stating that I will not be including them in my bk case. Since I am more than likely going to file pro se, can anyone tell me what generally I should put in this letter? Does it need to be any more elaborate than just stating that fact? I just want to make sure that I give them something they are satisfied with, as I really want to move to this new place.

hmmmm.... good question. I am not sure if there is a form letter out there or not. I would think just a generic letter would do though.
I, XXXXXX
Will not be including XXXXX rental properties in my bankruptcy.
Signed,
XXX
Seems like more should go in there as I don't think I have ever written a letter with only about 10 words in it. lolFiled: 08/09/06
