    late bills after bk

Ok...here I am trying to re-establish my credit w/my Dillard's card...well, I moved, changed my address and didn't get my last two bills...

Late charge was $15.00 for each bill and my balance was $25 before late charges...whoa.....

So, I called today, explained the situation and they did take one of the $15 charges off....this is my first experience since 2001....when I blew out the credit cards in smoke....

WOW! You can be sure I'm now online with Dillard's and paying off in full....it seems in trying to show I can make a payment...I incurred a larger payment....thank god I got one late fee removed....

Hopefully it doesn't effect your credit rating. The last hting you need is late payment history after a BK.

When disputing, there is a dispute specifically for 'moved to new address and did not receive bill'.... so its totally acceptable even to the credit bureaus.

Can I find that on the Annual credit report site where I can dispute it? I paid the whole bill last Friday, all $45 worth...they did take off the $15 late charge which had been added to the Sept. bill & I paid the Aug. one...but it's free & clear now! What a feeling!

The annual credit report site has nothing to do with it. All it does is link you directly to the credit bureau website once you verify your personal information to recieve free credit reports.
