You are right, this thread is of little use at this point...so I will lock it, but I want to make one observation...

First, what I meant by my langauge, is about businesses and particularly how and why businesses fail which is why I asked, what would you do differently this time so you don't fail and pointed out to you the main resources business fail to utilize properly causing them to fail (Time, Money, Process, Context, and Relationships). You claim to have some interesting "method", but from your earlier post, you are talking about trading Index E-mini's. Those are basically market momentum plays and often used as hedges...they are typically traded daily (day traded), but I would consider them about equivelent to sports betting (that is not a bad thing, per se), you can make good money handicapping sports team, there is info about the teams that you can use, and you can develop a system to deal with the spreads and hedge yourself, same with index e-mini's, you are essentially handicapping the indexes expected direction, you can gather some info that will help you decide which way you think the market will go, and can leverage and hedge accordingly.

However, you do need to see the irony in your post, this is a bankruptcy forum, and you were a debtor and admittedly failed at this "business" before, so I think you can appreciate the skeptisism here.

I hope you go on and are successful "this time".

      Well, I must say~
I am impressed that you guys here handled yourselves in such a respectable way about "agreeing to disagree".....
I love the way (and I mean that respectfully) men go about disagreeing~ you handled it quit well.... (well some men can't~ )
Women ~ on the other hand ...we just get pissed off and verbally abuse everyone in sight!!!!!! hee hee (well most of us~ )
I should say~ I have a lot to learn from this thread !!! I think all handled it with finese !!!!!

Failing at trading is not the problem. It is the failure to learn from your failure, that is the problem. If you learn from your failure, then it isn't a loss. It is the tuition you pay. The key to success is to learn from failure and to persevere.

I would say it has nothing to do with gender. You should see how a lot of guys quarel over petty and meaningless issues. lol I would say in 99% of the cases, it is because the guys involved, have nothing better to do with their time. lol

In any case, I am glad you don't consider us as just pigs..

An update to those who may be interested.

I have checked with a brokerage firm. They said it would be fine after the discharge. Needless to say, no margin account. Cash only. That is not a problem.

I do encourage everyone to open a brokerage account and put your saving to work for you. Investing in mutual funds. Be safe. And participate in the American dream. It is never too late to start. Today is the first day of the rest of our lives. Everything begins anew. It will be okay...
