    Debtor Discharge

I just received my Discharge today in the mail. I filed the end of December and had my Meeting of the Creditors (341) the beginning of January.

Time flew. I did not expect this to happen so quickly.

Is there anything I need to keep an eye on?
Can any of my Credit Cards demand money from me?

I've had my extra money hidden under the mattress, when can I put this back in my bank account without a worry? ;)

Can anyone touch my bank accounts?

    What happens next? :o

I have a very good budget going and my friend is holding me accountable. What else should I be doing?
Finally debt free. Chapter 7 is wonderful. A fresh new start.

It is over for you. keep your discharge and Creditor List handy. In about four months check your credit. Congratulations, it is over. Try and get a bank account if possible.

I had two bank accounts and I kept both of them active during the entire process. I was told to close them and take all the money out of them, but I feared not being able to get an account when I was done.

Both accounts have about $50.00 in them, I figured the worse that would happen is I would loooose the money.

      But, both accounts still work.

When can I start depositing my entire pay check into the accounts? I am still scared the money will be taken.

You were an open/shut case, pro bono, which is why you were discharged so fast, the Trustee has no interest in you. It is over for you.

        Smart move to keep accounts.
