He's quiet a character. He gave a speech at a high school here along with the federal BK judge, maybe he's in good with the judges? Here's the news article about it:
Here he is in a magazine article about a free workshop he gives in the downtown library, a few funny remarks, especially the Thanksgiving dinner remark:
And here are some clips from his radio show, these are gut busting hilarious:

So I think I got a good one, I guess he would be what's considered a "prominent bk attorney" given all this publicity and hob nobbing with BK judges. One thing that concerned me though is that he wants to ride-through my car loan. I started to balk at that but he says he's been doing it with all his clients who want to keep their cars ever since the law changed. He said he hasn't had any problems except with Ford who he is fighting with in the courts right now over it. My car loan is through Ford and he said that if he does indeed lose his case all I will have to do is sign paperwork after the fact. He's the attorney, so I will trust him on it.
I really liked the paralegal who did my consultation. She made me feel at ease without BSing me. She didn't try to sugar coat my cash advance that I took in November of last year, she said in the worst case scenario I will be forced to pay it back, in the best case I won't have to pay it back. It is obvious that I am not commiting fraud with it, I made three payments on it so far and all of them were much more than the minimum amount. The first payment I made on it was $400, almost a preferential payment. I think I should be OK.
I also found another news story on the recent real estate bust that mentions him. he says he is seeing a lot of people coming in with what he calls "toxic loans", I guess a blast at what some people have been calling "exotic loans". He seems like a credit warrior, if something does indeed go wrong with my simple case, I feel confident he can fight it for me. I just hope he isn't to busy with all these people who's homes are going into foreclosure though.
