i currently live in a cooperative housing, would bankruptcy force me out?


some rules for my cooperative

combined salary can not be higher than 50k for 3 ppl

even though i am considered a shareholder, I have never purchased any shares

I'm in NJ but I know co-ops are very hard nosed at times about who can stay, who can buy in, etc. My Dh and I were thinking we might like that living style in a few years if we decide to go up closer to NYC. Houses plus property tax are too high otherwise. I though BK would be the end of that idea for sure. Ive heard of people getting the boot for cooking stinky ethnic food and having larger dogs so who knows...
