I can't remember seeing this posted before, so my apologies if it has been.
Some of the Federal Bankruptcy exemptions amounts have increased as of April 1, 2007. I am having a hard time finding the updated info other than a notice in the Federal Register/Vol. 72, No. 30. If you are close on anything, you might want to aquaint yourself with the new numbers. The increase in the homestead exemption gives us a little more leeway. Hopefully it will be enough.
