    Stephen Snyder Seminars?....?.....?

    Hello everyone! I am new to this site and I found some very helpful information pertaining to bankruptcy. I filed for a chapter 7 03/01/07 and my 341 meeting was 04/30/07...pending discharge......
    I rcvd a seminar invitation from stephen snyder and I'm wondering has anyone been to any seminars and if so was the information useful or was it basically some common sense talk?

    They've been mentioned here before. The general opinion was people picked up some good info. Nothing you couldn't learn here or elsewhere. The seminars are mainly motivational opportunities to thump their books and such.

    Just use the Search feature in the top tool bar. Enter Stephen Snyder, and you'll get several hits.

    Most folks just check the books out of the library. If you give them your email addy, you'll get regular emails. Some info and always a sales pitch of some kind.

      For persons who know little about credit scoring they are a reasoable source of information. He pays for the "free" meeting by selling books and other information including a legal services plan that tryies to remove bad information from your credit report by questioning "bad information" numberious times.
      The worst thing he does is to push you into buying new car as a way of rebuilding credit. To me this is financial disaster waiting to happen.
      For most of us we need to keep out expences low, clean up out credit reports and not live beyond our means.
      For me Dave Ramsey's radio program is a much better plan for life after BK.

        I second that. Dave Ramsey is the way to go!
        11/14/07 -filed C7 12/04/07 -case pulled for random audit.12/18/07 -341 held: Asset case due to engagement ring & tax return.02/19/08 - US trustee files motion to extend. 04/02/08- changed back to NO ASSET! I get my ring back and get to keep my tax return! :clapping: 04/28/08 -DISCHARGED!!! :yahoo::yahoo: 05/07/08 - CLOSED!!!
