What is the procedure for discharge?

What actually happens? Does the court automatically discharge after objection period is over?
    Who signs the paperwork etc......
    Are all districts different?
    Just curious.....

In my district (Orlando Fla) it seems even the simplest cases wait two or more weeks for discharge according to my research. Any reason for that?

It somewhat varies by district; but generally, discharge is automatic and occurs on or about the expiration of the objection period (i.e. 60 days after your 341 meeting). The BK clerk generates the discharge order, and in most districts, because the discharge is a routine mater, the judge's signature is electronically affixed to the document.
