Can a money order be traced back to me if its in my name? What type of information is taken when a person cashes a money order? Is there a paper trail from it? Is it income that I need to claim?

MO's can be traced back to its issuing "bank", and to the individual/entity whom it was made out to (cashed/deposited).Originally posted by missy2
