    Met with Lawyer!

    Ok here we go....again....
Last night went to lawyer with all my documents....and he looked at it all. (about 40k cc debt, no assets, filing ch7) He said it looked like a clean case. The only thing that could be a problem is after the bk I will have pretty minimal bills and he thinks I could have too much money available and the trustee might not like that.....he said there are ways around it,...

what do you guys think-is it going to be ok????

Your attorney will need to really go over your documents and monthly expenses closely. Are you sure you "claimed" everything that you can and listed all of your expenses - insurances, pet foods, health stuff, meds, etc.......

Lots of people fail to claim many of the things they need too - like clothing, school clothes, books, etc.....

If you have too much extra income left over it is possible that the trustee can throw you into a Chapter 13 to pay back part of your credits with the excess income....

Hopefully your attorney can cover your bases in this area, he know what the Trustee will and will not allow as far as expenses are concerned.

Let us know what your attorney tells you.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Here is a link to a calculator that might help you remember all those little expenses that come up throughout the year.
The link can be found under the general bankruptcy section under "Links for Member"
